You lost me at "curvature"...ok,...Wow!!! You lost me at "curvature"...ok, so maybe it was "geometric equations". haha...you are definitely a genius and I'm proud to call you my mother! I've heard many of your tangents but I'd say that beats all!!!Danahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11711919282868466866noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3758335039485622685.post-5664632677924824232009-10-20T23:59:12.928-05:002009-10-20T23:59:12.928-05:00And in fairness, I don't think many teachers w...And in fairness, I don't think many teachers would be able to go out on that tangent either!Joeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05786445987803024856noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3758335039485622685.post-82455964982567363782009-10-20T23:23:49.818-05:002009-10-20T23:23:49.818-05:00Jamie, 8 years out of high school I'd have bee...Jamie, 8 years out of high school I'd have been completely unable to any of that (except the math part, I have a freakish love of the subject). It comes from teaching for almost 20 years, I'm on my eighth round of 7th grade. I don't know how much my kids know, but I sure have learned a lot! In the early days when we had a question--like how to measure a mountain--we'd be breaking out the books and researching in the library. I still went off on tangents but didn't know very many of the answers. I wonder if the older ones are better off for it?...Keithsladyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05122219673684349680noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3758335039485622685.post-19648473345495694642009-10-20T20:44:02.361-05:002009-10-20T20:44:02.361-05:00I agree with Jamie! But even the tangents are learning moments and that's what's important!:)Keeliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17843573057945100242noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3758335039485622685.post-37644855588988124732009-10-20T16:25:54.281-05:002009-10-20T16:25:54.281-05:00Wow! It's been at least 8 years since I was even close to understanding those things!Jamiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09688330472419777643noreply@blogger.com
