One of Those Days

Laying in bed the other night:

Keith: How was your day?

Me: Not so great.

Keith: Tell me about it.

Me: It just seemed like my day was full of ineffective relating, motivating, instructing, training, discussing, teaching, and ordering. I just wasn't getting anywhere with anyone.

(Pause)

Me: Let's just say that it was a lot like raking leaves on a windy day.

LOL, that's such a great analogy. I love it!

bless you're heart. My mom says it's like shoveling snow while it's snowing. ...or rocking in a rocking chair. You're doing something, but ti's getting you nowhere. Thankfully what we put in, usually produces fruit after a while, right? the seed gets down in there!
