Pictures and a Video for Ellen

Ellen, I thought you'd like to see these from the weekend last month when both Chet and Daniel were here.

Daniel and Lisa (or whatever puppy name she chose that day)

It's impossible to get Chet and Keith to smile naturally for a picture!

Dad, Chet, and Dana singing "I Am". I love working in the kitchen when family members are gathered around the piano singing, or when just one is there. I miss your voice joining in Ellen! The sound quality is not too good here, I just used the video option on my camera. You may need to turn your speakers down, I was too close to the piano. Notice your goofy brother at the beginning of the song and check out how much he moves, he never could sit still--still can't!

All of these posts for Ellen...how about posts for Joey or Chet? One for Joey could have everyone in the family answering geography bee questions and one for Chet can have Troy and Shane having a pillow fight while using the voices of Donald Duck and Goofy when talking to one another.

Good point Joey...but thanks mom, that video just reminded me of why I should never sing in front of people! Oh my...

Joey, you and Chet have the resources to be with us face to face (OK, maybe Chet's a little short on some of those resources). I single out Ellen to keep her in touch while she's ON ANOTHER CONTINENT.

But I'll see what I can do about the Donald Duck voices for you.

I sure hope that wasn't taken seriously...

Not for a minute.

Thank you SO much for this!! I loved all of it, but especially the first picture. Guess I'm partial. Dana, Dad, Chet, thank you so much for doing that song for me, it was really fun to hear and I wished I could have been there singing along. I love our piano sessions!

You're darn right I don't have the resources. I'm practically on a different continent up here. I've always said Ellen was the favorite child and you only validate my point more and more every day. Excellent video quality by the way. Really great getting my ears blasted by a piano playing fortisisisisisimo. What's the music theory for that? ffffffff?

I didn't even know Dana played the piano - beautiful! Boy does this bring back memories - Keesha and I at the piano (she playing of course since I just never could seem to do a thing with those 6 years of lessons) and sometimes my whole family around the piano, or a few of us here and there....anyway...thanks!
